1. Alabama lineman D.J. Fluker will enter the NFL draft.  Two more candidates for the Crimson Tide – running back Eddie Lacy and cornerback Dee Milliner – have yet to decide.

2. Alabama right guard Anthony Steen says he’s staying for his senior year at Alabama.Chance Warmack: “He’s better than me.”

3. Georgia nose guard Kwame Geathers is turning pro.  Third Bulldog to declare for the draft, joining linebackers Jarvis Jones and Alec Ogletree.

4. Departing Texas A&M lineman Luke Joeckel pens a letter to Aggie fans while signs point to fellow tackle Jake Matthews staying for his senior year.

5. Of the four players leaving Tennessee early, the decision by defensive lineman Darrington Sentimore provided the biggest surprise.

7. Former Colorado defensive coordinator Greg Brown will replace Jeremy Pruitt as the secondary coach at Alabama.

12. Two freshmen defensive backs who’ve never played at Kentucky have been dismissed from the team. Freshman quarterback Reese Phillips has enrolled in school.
